Papaya Muskmelon Juice Recipe – nutritious fruit juice for breakfast or for anytime of the day.
As Navratri vrat is going on, I have made this juice. While you are on fast you need some energy, a large glass of juice provides enough energy to start your day.
Papaya and kharbooja is good combination which gives sweet juice without addition of any sugar. But I strongly suggest using very ripe papaya to get tasty and sweet juice.
I have added lemon juice in it which give nice balanced flavor of juice.
I recently made papaya halwa and I had few pieces of papaya left and I had muskmelon in the fridge. It strikes me to make this juice for this Navratri (just like my mom). Papaya is the only fruit that I and husband do not like to eat as such, So I always use it in the recipe.
Serving suggestion: Have it as a breakfast or anytime of the day as a thirst quencher. It can be consumed during the fast or vrat as this juice gives boost and energy which is required while you are on fast.
Papaya Muskmelon juice recipe:
US measuring cups are used (1 cup = 240 ml)
- 1 cup Papaya cubed
- 1 cup Muskmelon or cantaloupe or kharbuja cubed
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Ice cubes as needed
- Take all the ingredients in the blender.
- Blend it till you get nice n smooth juice.
- Pour it into serving glass and serve.
