Instructions
Take the yogurt in a bowl and whisk it until smooth.
Add chopped onion, tomato, green chili and cilantro. Mix well.
Add salt, black salt and roasted cumin powder. Again mix well and serve.
Notes
Always start with chilled yogurt as raita tastes best when served chilled.
This should be served right away or within an hour.
Storing this raita in the refrigerator is not a good idea. Because of the raw onion, it starts to get a strong smell in your fridge. Also, veggies will leave their water and makes the raita watery and runny.
