Instructions
Preparation:
First make all three chutneys. You can make them ahead of time in the morning or a day before and keep them in the refrigerator.
Also soak the chickpeas a day before and next day boil them till soft.
Boil the potatoes in the pressure cooker or use the leftover boiled potato.
Now to make the yogurt mixture. Take plain yogurt in a bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder.
Whisk well it is smooth. Keep this in the refrigerator because we need chilled yogurt.
To make the spiced potato mixture, take boiled, cubed potatoes in a bowl. Add salt, chaat masala and red chili powder. Mix well. Keep it aside.
Making Dahi papadi chaat recipe:
Keep all the elements ready on the countertop or table.
Arrange 6-7 papdis in a plate.
Add few boiled chickpeas on each papdi.
Then add spiced potatoes.
Now drizzle the green coriander chutney, followed by red garlic chutney and tamarind date chutney.
Then add chopped onion and tomatoes.
Now Sprinkle little chaat masala on top.
Now drizzle the yogurt.
Lastly sprinkle the sev on top.
Serve right away before papdi gets soft and soggy.
