Plain yogurt
(dahi or curd)

Salt to taste

Roasted cumin powder

Black salt (Kala namak)

Red chili powder

Carrot
grated

Instructions
Making carrot raita recipe:
Take yogurt in a bowl.
Add salt, black salt, roasted cumin powder and red chili powder.
Beat the yogurt till it is smooth and spices are mixed.
Add grated carrot, coriander leaves and green chili. Mix well.
Keep this in the refrigerator till the time of serving.
Take peanuts in a pan on medium heat. Roast them with stirring frequently till they are slightly golden brown and toasted.
Remove it from the pan and let it cool.
Once cooled, coarsely grind using mortar and pestle or use grinder.
Right before serving, add crushed peanuts to raita. Mix and serve
