Cantaloupe juice is refreshing, cooling and hydrating drink especially for summer season. This is a must-make fruit juice when cantaloupes are in season.
Cut the cantaloupe in half, remove the seeds using a spoon. Cut into slices, peel and cut into big cubes.
Take chopped pieces into a blender along with sugar and water. Blend it until smooth.
Place a fine-mesh strainer over the bowl. Pass the juice through the strainer and press it using a spatula to get the maximum juice. Discard the pulp.
Pour the juice into the serving glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of your cantaloupe.
Strain or Not strain? It depends. If you like pulpy juice then no need to strain. Otherwise, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer to get a smooth juice.
Storage: Fresh cantaloupe juice should be consumed within a day to get the best flavor and maximum nutritional value.
Chill the cantaloupe in the fridge before juicing to get chilled juice. Otherwise, you’ll have to add ice cubes and that dilutes the juice
