Preparation:
First put a small plate into the freezer, we will use it at the end to check the perfect consistency of Jam.
Making strawberry jam recipe:
Take strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in a pan. Turn on the heat to medium.
Mix everything together as it heats up.
All the sugar will start to melt.
As it starts to boil, strawberries will start to release its juice.
Let it simmer and keep stirring in between. It starts to foam up. You can remove that foam using spatula or leave it like me. It will be fine.
Keep stirring and simmering till it gets thick and it starts leave the sides of the pan. It took me about 20 minutes.
Check the doneness of Jam. Put a small drop of Jam on chilled plate, If it looks set and means not runny and watery then Jam is ready. Turn off the stove.
Let the Jam cool completely and store in clean Jar.
