This kaju anjeer milkshake is a protein-packed sweet treat made with 4 ingredients only. This healthy and nutritious shake is perfect for growing kids.
Take dried figs and cashews in a bowl and add enough water to just cover them. Do not add too much water. Soak for at least 4 hours (or overnight in the refrigerator) covered. They absorb all the water and figs will get plump up and become soft.
Chop the figs into small pieces. Drain the excess water if any is left after soaking.
Add cashews and figs into the blender along with milk and ice cream scoops.
Blend it until smooth, pour into the glass and serve
Notes
Soaking cashews and fig is an important step. If soaking for more than 4-5 hours then keep in the refrigerator.
You can add a teaspoon or two of sugar if you prefer a sweet milkshake. For me, sweetness from figs and ice cream was enough.
You can skip adding ice cream and make it healthy for your kids.
