Instructions
Making coconut ladoo recipe:
Take the mawa in a non stick pan and turn the heat on medium-low.
Cook it with stirring continuously. It will start to melt down.
Keep cooking till it gets very little light brown in color and will leave the sides of the pan. It took me about 3 minutes. If making larger batch then you need to cook it little longer.
Remove it to a bowl and let it cool to touch or warm.
Then add desiccated coconut and powdered sugar. Mix well with your fingertips.
Add tutti frutti or nuts (if using). Mix well.
Check with your hand by gathering little amount, If it looks dry then add little milk at a time and see if it comes together or not. I added only 1 tablespoon of milk.
Grease your palm with little ghee or clarified butter and start shaping the ladoo.
