Wash the strawberries, remove the stems and roughly chop them. Add that into the blender along with lemon juice and sugar.
Blend it until you get a smooth puree.
Add chilled water and again blitz it to mix together.
Pour fresh strawberry juice into the serving glass or a pitcher.
Notes
Use chilled water or ice cubes for a refreshing taste. If using ice, reduce the water quantity to avoid diluting the juice too much.
If you prefer, you can add a pinch of salt. It brings out the strawberry flavor more. Personally I do not add salt to control the salt intake.
Sweetness matters: Adjust the sugar depending on how sweet or tart your strawberries are.
To strain or not to strain? It’s up to you! We don’t mind a few seeds here and there, but if you prefer a smooth texture, strain it using a muslin cloth placed over a fine sieve.
Using frozen strawberries? Thaw them first. If blended frozen, you’ll get a slushy consistency instead of juice.
