Hi there Kanan… I made these burgers last night .. I substitute paneer with tofu used only two green chillies (my family doesn’t eat too spicy) and added like a teaspoon of garam masala. Everyone enjoyed them a lot .. I used tofu because I want my family to eat more protein and there aren’t a lot of options for vegetarian people like us!!! And they don’t really like tofu but they loved in the burger form 🙂
Please do share your recipes if you eat tofu…
I like the idea of using tofu here. Actually I and hubby find tofu very bland. I tried once adding in curry instead paneer pieces, but we didn’t like it. So I am still in search of tofu recipe which does not taste bland. So let’s see when it will end. Once I find I will sure share here.
That is such a hearty burger! my husband would rather wat the sabjis in the form of a burger than the daily indian meal:)
