Why Choose This Strawberry Juice Recipe
Simple Ingredients: You’ll need just 3 main ingredients – strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar – plus some water. That’s it!
Quick & Easy: Just toss everything into a blender and blend. No fancy tools or complicated steps.
Naturally Delicious: Sweet, slightly tangy, and packed with fresh strawberry flavor – it’s a total treat!
Perfect for Summer: Whether you’re hosting a summer brunch, picnic, or just need a cooling non-alcoholic drink, this strawberry juice is a winner. (Bonus: it’s kid-friendly too!)
Healthier Option: A refreshing alternative to sugary store-bought juices or carbonated drinks. You control the sweetness.
Ingredient Notes
Strawberries: I’ve used fresh strawberries for the best flavor, but frozen ones work just as well (thaw them first).
Lemon Juice: Adds a bright, tangy note that enhances the flavor of the berries. Lime juice can be used as a substitute.
Sugar: Use regular white sugar or your preferred sweetener like honey, maple syrup, or stevia—adjust to taste.
Water: A small amount is added to help blend everything smoothly and get the perfect juice-like consistency.
How to make strawberry juice? (Stepwise)
Wash the strawberries, remove the stems and roughly chop them. Add that into the blender along with lemon juice and sugar.
Blend it until you get a smooth puree.
Add chilled water and again blitz it to mix together.
Pour into the serving glass or a pitcher.
Expert Tips
Use chilled water or ice cubes for a refreshing taste. If using ice, reduce the water quantity to avoid diluting the juice too much.
Using frozen strawberries? Thaw them first. If blended frozen, you’ll get a slushy consistency instead of juice.
Prefer thick juice? Simply skip adding water.
Sweetness matters: Adjust the sugar depending on how sweet or tart your strawberries are.
To strain or not to strain? It’s up to you! We don’t mind a few seeds here and there, but if you prefer a smooth texture, strain it using a muslin cloth placed over a fine sieve.
Variations
Salt: Just a pinch can enhance the strawberry flavor, but I usually skip it to keep salt intake in check.
Herbs: Add fresh mint or basil for a refreshing twist.
Coconut water: Swap plain water with coconut water for a more nutrient-rich and hydrating drink.
Spices: A pinch of cinnamon or freshly crushed cardamom adds warmth and depth.
Vanilla: A drop of vanilla extract can add a hint of sweetness and aroma.
Ginger: Add a ½ inch piece for a zingy kick (best for cooler weather).
Other fruits: Mix with apple, watermelon (strawberry watermelon juice), pineapple, orange, or berries like raspberries and blueberries for fun fruity combos.
Storage Instructions
For best taste and nutrition, enjoy the juice fresh.
If needed, you can refrigerate it in a covered container for up to 24 hours. Be sure to stir it well before serving, as natural separation may occur.

If you prefer, you can add a pinch of salt. It brings out the strawberry flavor more. Personally I do not add salt to control the salt intake.

Hi there,
Nice recipe, a good way to get a clear strawberry juice is by
Combining your strawberries (quartered) sugar I usually do 1 cup strawberries a quarter cup sugar
1/2 lemon juice and 2 cups water,
Combine this in a bowl clingfilm over the top,
Place iver a pan of boiling water for 25 mins exactly
Remove from heat and pass through sieve lined with a cloth usually muslin or the blue cloths
You have a crystal clear juice
Then with the strawberries you can make a puree or a jam with them by adding a little bit of sugar and blending
Also with the stems of the strawberries you can make a delicious tea, add unto a pan a cup of stems, 3 tablespoons of sugar and a squeeze of lemon and 1 cup of water, bring up to the boil and pass same method as before then drink
Delicious!!!
Hope you guys enjoy this alternative method
