    Better than store-bought:

    • This homemade pineapple juice is preservative-free and contains more vitamins and minerals than bottled ones.
    • Plus, when you make fresh juice at home, you will be using the best, ripe fruit. Hence you’ll be using less amount or no sugar at all compared to store-bought sugar-loaded juices.
    • The homemade version always has a fresh flavor that you’ll never get from the bottle ones.

Quick & Easy: It takes only 15 minutes to make a big batch of this pineapple juice and it’s super simple to make.

Kid-friendly: It makes a perfect vibrant drink for kids of all ages. Even it’s a great drink for a whole family to enjoy.

Healthy: It is a better choice than carbonated or other sugar-loaded beverages.

    🧾Ingredient Notes

    • Pineapple: Use the fresh, ripe pineapple to make juice. Most of the time, you’ll get the raw or semi-ripe pineapple from the store, so let it sit on the counter for a few days to ripe.
      • How to check the ripeness? It should have a firm cell but a slightly soft when squeezed. When you smell the bottom side, it should give a fruity, sweet pineapple smell. This is the ripe time to cut your pineapple.
      • Cut the pineapple ahead of time and chill in the refrigerator to get instant chilled pineapple juice.
    • Water: Use chilled, refrigerated water. Or use some water with some ice cubes.
    • Sugar (Optional): If your pineapple is super ripe and sweet then you may not need sugar at all. So always taste and add sugar as needed.
    • Salt: It is optional. Salt brings out the fruit flavor at most.

    👩‍🍳Step By Step Photo Instructions

    1) Take pineapple cubes in a blender along with water and salt.

    2) Blend it until it is a smooth puree.

    3) Taste and add sugar accordingly and blitz it to mix.

    4) Put the strainer over a pitcher or a large bowl and strain the juice.

    5) Press gently using the back of the spatula to get most of the juice. You’ll have some fibers left, discard that.

    6) If needed, add a few ice cubes to keep it chilled.

    💭Expert Tips

Juicer: if using a juicer then no need to strain as it separates the pulp and juice.

Pineapple naturally froths when blended. After straining the juice, the froth is reduced. After that, you can skim off the excess froth using a ladle.

    Variations:

    • You can add a small piece of ginger. It aids digestion and adds a nice flavor.
    • You can add a pinch of black salt (kala namak) along with some black pepper for a zingy taste.
    • You can add a few mint leaves that add extra freshness to the pineapple juice.
    • You can add coconut water instead of regular water.
    • You can add some orange juice e.g. orange pineapple juice.
