Diwali is one of the most popular and the biggest festival celebrated in India. The preparation usually starts 10-15 days before which includes cleaning, decorating, shopping for new clothes and other stuff, making different diwali snacks and diwali sweets for family and also to give away as a gift.
This year Diwali is on 14th Nov 2020. But the celebration starts 2 days before and lasts for five days.

Wishing you a very happy Diwali in advance.

After marriage I have kept her tradition continue but I make very small batches because it's for just two of us.

I enjoy your recipes but, am a bit disappointed that there aren't very many Diwali snacks that are suitable for those with obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol. Perhaps, someday, you will use the creative talents that you have been blessed with to make food suitable for those with those ailments.
Thank you.
